Credit Controller

GCS Malta is looking for a Credit Controller to work with one of Malta’s leading logistics companies.

Your Responsibilities

• Determining credit limits based on customers' financial status and securing company’s credit exposure.
• Following up on overdue accounts via reminders, calls, or negotiating repayment terms.
• Managing and monitoring repayment plans for customers with payment difficulties.
• Tracking outstanding balances and preparing aging reports to identify overdue payments.
• Communicating regularly with the sales team, customers, and departments on payment statuses.
• Maintaining monthly financial reporting for various duties.

Required Skills

This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, along with knowledge of accounts receivable regulations. Proficiency in accounting software is essential. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are required, along with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma or higher in a relevant field, with previous experience in accounting, credit control, or a related area being an asset.
