Enforcement Manager

GCS Malta is seeking to recruit an Enforcement Manager to work with a local public agency.
Your Responsibilities
- Supervising and reviewing team's enforcement measures and actions
- Implementing directives to subject persons
- Ensuring team members are adequately trained and supported
- Monitoring and reviewing team's work for improvement and quality
- Evaluating team's operations and report when required
- Preparing court files and attend court sittings as needed
- Keeping superiors updated on team's plans and actions
- Planning team's operations to meet section priorities
- Reviewing and maintaining Enforcement Section's Policies and Procedures
- Providing AML training and public awareness
- Liaising with supervisory authorities as necessary
- Conducting performance appraisals and meetings with team members
- Providing advice to senior management and other sections
- Fulfilling other delegated duties from Director, Deputy Director, and Head of Section
Required Skills
Ideally, candidates must have expertise in Malta's anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing laws, along with relevant international standards and EU legislation. Strong written and verbal communication abilities in both Maltese and English are required.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess a University Degree or equivalent qualification at MQF Level 6 in law, banking and finance and/or financial services and/or insurance or any other related field whilst, a minimum of 6 years’ experience including 2 years in a senior role is considered an asset.
