Production Operator

GCS Malta is seeking to recruit a Production Operator to work with a local pharmaceutical company. The Production Operator will be responsible for carrying out manufacturing processes within the pharmaceutical industry.

Your Responsibilities

• Carrying out manufacturing processes which convert active ingredients and other chemical substances into final dosage form units
• Cleaning process rooms, machinery, and ancillary equipment after completion of production processes

Required Skills

he chosen individual must have excellent fluency, both written and verbal, in Maltese and English and must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and manufacturing instructions, procedure manuals and specifications. Required skills for this role include self-motivation, detail-orientation, and ability to work within a team. The selected applicant must be willing to work on a shift basis from Monday to Friday. Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of an Ordinary Level Standard of Education and/or a School Leaving Certificate. A Certificate in a Mechanical related discipline is considered an asset. Experience working in the Pharmaceutical Industry and knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices are considered as advantageous.
