Senior Manager – Risk and Compliance

GCS Recruitment Malta is looking for a dynamic Senior Compliance Manager – Risk & Compliance to join our top-tier client, a leading compliance service provider.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide financial crime compliance consultancy (audits, policy drafting, staff training).
  • Participate in and speak at industry events and workshops.
  • Develop and deliver AML/CFT training materials.
  • Assist in developing internal procedures and conducting customer due diligence reviews.
  • Offer managed services for MLROs and licensed entities.
  • Help clients implement risk management and control frameworks.
  • Lead AML/CFT projects and mentor team members.
  • Research and provide insights on compliance regulations.
  • Manage policy reviews and develop remediation plans.
  • Lead and support the team with guidance.

Required Skills

One must have strong knowledge of EU and Malta AML/CFT laws and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

The candidate must be in possession of a University Degree or equivalent in a related field, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an AML/CFT position.
