Accounts Assistant

GCS Malta is looking for an Accounts Assistant to work with one of Malta’s leading insurance companies.

Your Responsibilities

  • Following up on payments received
  • Performing weekly bank reconciliations
  • Updating monthly nominal ledger sheets
  • Preparing claims reconciliation for the Financial Controller to review
  • Staying in close contact with other departments within the Company
  • Maintaining cash and keeping copies of all invoices and receipts
  • Performing other duties required by Senior Management

Required Skills

One must be able to work within a team and work under minimum supervision and prioritize work. Excellent written and communication skills in both the Maltese and English language is considered a must.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate must have knowledge of accounting practices within the insurance market and be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
