Junior Risk Associate

GCS Malta is seeking to recruit a Junior Risk Associate to work with a local public agency.

Your Responsibilities

• Assisting with risk assessments and ensuring compliance with methodology
• Compiling risk evaluation questionnaires
• Updating risk profiles and monitoring changes
• Supporting risk
• related projects and data analysis
• Providing risk data for compliance examinations
• Conducting verification checks on risk data
• Liaising with Competent Authorities
• Assisting with evaluations by local and international bodies

Required Skills

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the laws governing the prevention of money laundering and financing of terrorism in Malta and EU legislation. Additionally, knowledge in risk assessment, data analysis, or statistics is considered an asset. Proficiency in the use of MS office and fluency in written and verbal English is required.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have either an MQF Level 5 qualification in Risk Management, Banking and Finance, or Audit with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an MQF Level 4 qualification with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
