Vetting Lawyer

GCS Malta is looking for a Vetting Lawyer to work with a legal firm in Malta.

Your Responsibilities

• Reviewing legal documents, including contracts and registry searches, to prepare reports on hypothecary positions and property titles.
• Assisting and representing clients in public deeds for successful outcomes.
• Identifying and assessing legal risks in transactions, offering recommendations to mitigate them.
• Staying updated on legislation, regulations, and best practices.
• Collaborating with the legal team during client representation and contract negotiations.
• Communicating legal findings, risks, and recommendations to clients.
• Working with cross
• functional teams to provide legal insights and support decision
• making.
• Streamlining and optimizing legal vetting processes.
• Preparing reports confirming successful contract completion or registration post
• deed.

Required Skills

Applicants must hold a valid warrant to practice law in Malta and be proficient in the Maltese language, both are essential requirements for consideration. Strong communication skills as well as the ability to work both in teams and independently are also a must.

Qualifications and Experience

Although prior experience is beneficial, motivated new graduates looking for a challenging career in these fields are also encouraged to apply.
