Head of Finance & Administration

GCS Malta is looking for a Head of Finance & Administration to work with one of Malta's leading insurance group of companies.

Your Responsibilities

  • Managing daily finance operations and supporting the operations team.
  • Ensuring timely financial reporting and addressing issues with leadership.
  • Overseeing audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Preparing budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and managing treasury.
  • Handling tax submissions and regulatory financial reporting.
  • Providing financial advice to the General Manager for decision
  • making.
  • Managing provider payments and collaborating to strengthen brand loyalty.
  • Supervising the administration team for efficient task execution.
  • Overseeing office management and ensuring timely salary payments.

Required Skills

Sound knowledge of accounting principles and previous experience using accounting software SAP is essential. Strong time management, communication and analytical skills are required within this role. Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, especially excel is a must.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate must be in possession of a qualification in Accounts with a minimum of 3 years' experience is considered an asset.
