GCS Malta is looking for an HR & Training Officer to join one of Malta’s leading Hospitals.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies for compliance.
  • Coordinating performance management systems, including reviews and evaluations.
  • Planning and implementing training programs with department heads.
  • Maintaining training records and employee information in the HR database.
  • Supporting recruitment by updating job descriptions, screening applications, and coordinating interviews.
  • Organizing induction programs for new employees.
  • Handling employee inquiries about HR policies and benefits.
  • Supporting payroll processing and employee registrations.
  • Administering work permit applications for third
  • country nationals.
  • Preparing and maintaining HR documents, including contracts and acknowledgments.
  • Providing reports and documentation to management.
  • Contributing to HR projects for organizational improvement.
  • Promoting diversity, equality, and inclusivity in the workplace.

Required Skills

Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills are essential, coupled with a positive attitude and self-motivation. Proficiency in using Microsoft office applications is required.

Qualifications and Experience

The preferred candidate should be in possession of a Diploma in HR or equivalent, whilst a minimum of 1 years’ experience within HR is considered an asset.
