GCS Malta is looking for a Compliance Manager & Group MLRO to work with one of Malta's leading financial companies.
Your Responsibilities
- Reporting suspicious transactions to relevant authorities.
- Submitting periodic reports to the FIAU and MFSA.
- Assisting Compliance Officers for Group entities.
- Coordinating AML/CFT and financial crime compliance within the group.
- Assessing financial crime risk at the Group and entity levels.
- Conducting de
- risking exercises based on assessments.
- Monitoring internal processes for effective compliance.
- Reviewing due diligence levels and conducting spot
- checks.
- Maintaining up
- to
- date policies and procedures.
- Facilitating communication and updates across the Group.
- Managing compliance software projects and data migration.
- Delivering training on AML/CFT developments to client
- facing employees.
- Ensuring compliance with AML/CFT regulations for Subject Persons.
- Providing risk information to assist in client decision
- making.
- Staying informed on financial crime trends and typologies.
Required Skills
This role requires strong knowledge of AML/CFT laws, regulations, and guidelines, along with expertise in identifying compliance gaps and implementing effective corrective actions. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
Qualifications and Experience
The chosen candidate must be in possession of a University Degree or equivalent qualification in a related area, whilst a minimum of 5 years' experience in AML/CFT role and at least 2 years in a managerial role is considered an asset.
