GCS Malta is looking for a Senior Technical Operations Engineer to join of Malta's leading service providers. The chosen candidate will be joining the Billing & CRM team.

Your Responsibilities

• Monitoring application, database, and server systems for performance and uptime.
• Performing proactive maintenance to improve platform stability and performance.
• Conducting root cause analysis for effective incident resolution.
• Utilizing and enhancing monitoring tools to detect and address application issues with CRM developers.
• Developing and maintaining documentation to optimize operational processes.
• Mentoring junior team members and promoting collaboration and growth.

Required Skills

This role requires expertise in monitoring tools and automation scripting, as well as strong proficiency in Linux and shell scripting. Strong teamwork, problem-solving and analytical skills are required.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should have prior experience in application and system monitoring and maintenance at a senior level, which is considered an asset.
