GCS Malta is looking for an Accountant to work with one of Malta's leading printing companies.

Your Responsibilities

• Delivering month
• end reporting and budget preparation for the Business Unit (BU).
• Managing the standard costing model for accurate reporting.
• Ensuring compliance with Finance guidelines and internal controls.
• Assisting in profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow preparation.
• Maintaining Nominal Ledger accuracy through reconciliations.
• Supporting tax submissions and KPI dashboard preparation.
• Analyzing labor and material variances with Departmental Managers.
• Preparing new job costs for approval.

Required Skills

This role requires strong knowledge of cost accounting, along with excellent analytical and financial modelling skills, and a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in MS applications and financial software back-end tables and configurations is required.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
