Senior Compliance Advisor

GCS Recruitment Malta is looking for a Senior Compliance Advisor to join a leading compliance service provider.

Your Responsibilities

• Leading financial crime compliance projects, including audits, gap analysis, and policy reviews.
• Assisting with AML/CFT risk assessments and policy updates.
• Conducting reviews and creating remediation plans.
• Coordinating regulatory examinations and compliance projects.
• Supporting sanctions screening, transaction reviews, and customer risk assessments.
• Mentoring and coaching advisors.
• Delivering AML/CFT training and providing internal support.
• Managing departmental systems for efficiency.

Required Skills

This role demands a strong understanding of local AML/CFT compliance laws and regulations, as well as excellent teamwork, organizational, and analytical skills. Fluency in both written and spoken English is required.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should hold a University Degree in Law, Criminology, Finance, or a related field. An AML Diploma from a recognized institution would be an asset. A minimum of 3 years of AML experience is preferred.
