Financial Controller

GCS Malta is looking for a Financial Controller to work with one of Malta's leading companies within hospitality and entertainment. The chosen candidate will be reporting directly to the CFO.

Your Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly management statements in a timely manner to allow the review of the company’s financial performance
• Actively leading the preparation of the yearly budget and regular forecasts together with other department Managers and the CFO
• Preparing of cash flows, VAT returns, and financial information relative to upcoming and existing projects or business opportunities
• Acting as the first line of contact of the external auditors to ensure a prompt and accurate preparation of the statutory audit
• Ensuring the timely monitoring of debtors, and credit control
• Supporting the accounts staff with daily monitoring of cash settlements

Required Skills

The chosen candidate must have excellent communication and people skills with good organizational abilities.

Qualifications and Experience

If you are in possession of an ACCA qualification or equivalent, then this one’s for you! Proven work experience in a similar position, and solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, are a must.
