GCS Malta is seeking to recruit a Head of Risk Advisory to work with an accounting service provider with both local and international clients.

Your Responsibilities

• Leading the risk advisory function and managing the Specialised Unit.
• Mentoring staff and overseeing risk
• related consultancy engagements.
• Supporting advisory projects, audits, and compliance efforts.
• Identifying new consultancy opportunities and engaging clients.
• Coordinating conferences, developing training, and organizing workshops.
• Creating content to showcase expertise.

Required Skills

Experience in financial risk assessments, including stress testing, ICAAP, ILAAP, and knowledge of SREP and MFSA banking regulations is essential within this role. Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills are required.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate must be in possession of a University Degree or equivalent in Finance, banking/ financial services or a related field, whilst a minimum of 8 years’ experience in financial services including 5 years in a risk management position is considered an asset.
