GCS Malta is seeking an Information Security Officer for a prominent limited liability company.

Your Responsibilities

• Defining and enforcing information security policies.
• Identifying and investigating security incidents.
• Managing incident response, event management, and patching.
• Implementing and monitoring security controls.
• Promoting security awareness and training.
• Conducting vulnerability assessments and managing remediation.
• Staying updated on security threats.
• Monitoring compliance with security obligations.
• Conducting third
• party security risk assessments.
• Supporting security systems administration.
• Defining security requirements for new products and systems.

Required Skills

This role requires a strong understanding of information security technologies and a risk-based approach, with essential knowledge of regulations and laws related to information security (such as NIS2, DORA, EBA Guidelines). Strong knowledge of Microsoft on-prem and cloud environments is essential, with knowledge of MS SQL Server and .Net languages being a plus.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should hold a relevant information security certification such as CISSP or CISM, as it is considered an asset.
