IT Business Partner

GCS Malta is looking for an IT Business Partner to work with one of Malta's leading manufacturing companies.

Your Responsibilities

• Handling client IT issues and escalation in operational meetings.
• Installing, maintaining, and upgrading PC software, hardware, and systems.
• Troubleshooting hardware/software issues on machinery and networks.
• Supporting SQL databases, reporting services, and asset compliance.
• Performing system administration and user support.
• Conducting root cause analysis and process improvements.
• Managing IT suppliers, audits, and disaster recovery.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.

Required Skills

The candidate should have expertise in user environment management, Microsoft Office and 365, IT infrastructure, network technologies, and SQL Server, with skills in scripting and database applications. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate must hold a College Diploma or University Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, along with certifications such as Microsoft (MCSE, MCSD), Cisco (CCNA, CCNP, CCDA), or equivalent. Relevant work experience is an asset.
