GCS Malta is looking for an Electrician to work with one of Malta’s leading solar energy companies.

Your Responsibilities

• Installing electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment
• Installing safety and distribution components (switches, resistors, circuit breakers, etc.)
• Connecting wiring in electrical circuits and networks for component compatibility
• Preparing and assembling conduits and connecting wiring
• Troubleshooting hazards or malfunctions and repairing/replacing damaged units
• Diagnosing issues in mechanical/electrical components
• Keeping logs of work and issues
• Maintaining equipment and tools in good condition

Required Skills

Applicants must have proficiency in using electrical and hand tools, such as wire strippers and voltmeters, along with the ability to interpret electrical drawings. A strong understanding of safety procedures, legal regulations, and industry guidelines is essential. Good organizational, planning and customer service skills are required within this role.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate must have a valid professional license, with experience as an electrician and familiarity with industrial and/or commercial electrical systems considered an asset.
