GCS Malta is looking for a Manufacturing Technician to work with one of Malta’s leading consumer goods companies.

Your Responsibilities

• Participating in equipment modifications and installations
• Inspecting and testing electrical and mechanical systems
• Performing breakdown maintenance and repairs
• Supporting training and production efficiency
• Ensuring operational safety features and quality standards
• Sharing relevant insights and building stakeholder relationships
• Leading teams effectively and motivating team members

• Managing stress constructively and sharing lessons learned

Required Skills

One must possess technical expertise in a complex manufacturing environment, along with experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO standards, safe food handling, HACCP protocols, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines. This combination of knowledge is essential for ensuring quality, safety, and compliance within the industry.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate must be in possession of a BTEC Diploma or HND Engineering MQF 4/5, along with a Wireman's electrical license A & B is considered an asset. 2 years' experience in a food/pharmaceutical/chemical manufacturing environment is a must.
