GCS Malta is looking for a Purchasing Supervisor to work with one of the largest restaurant chains.

Your Responsibilities

• Developing sourcing strategies and identifying profitable suppliers.
• Negotiating terms with vendors and approving orders.
• Reviewing contracts and managing inventory across locations.
• Monitoring key metrics to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Collaborating with teams to ensure clear specifications.
• Analyzing market changes and managing supply risks.
• Controlling spending and fostering long
• term savings.
• Overseeing warehouse organization and maintaining supplier tracking.

Required Skills

This role demands excellent negotiation and networking skills, along with experience in data collection and analysis. Strong leadership and decision-making abilities are crucial. A good knowledge of MS office applications is essential.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should have proven experience as a Purchasing Officer, Assistant, Manager, or Head, with expertise in sourcing and purchasing techniques. Strong market insight will be considered an asset.
