Assistant Production Manager

GCS Malta is seeking to recruit an Assistant Production Manager to work with a local pharmaceutical company.

Your Responsibilities

• Assisting with manufacturing operations per company policies
• Supporting the Production Manager in achieving departmental goals
• Overseeing Cleaning Validation
• Ensuring timely, cost
• effective production to meet quality standards
• Coordinating with Quality Control for material and product analysis
• Managing external production personnel
• Evaluating scientific data and participating in root cause analysis
• Leading projects and teams

Required Skills

Ideally, the candidate should be a skilled people manager with strong multitasking, teamwork, and leadership abilities, coupled with a proactive approach to effectively guide and motivate their team while managing multiple responsibilities. Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential, along with strong skills in both written and spoken English.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should hold a University Degree in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Science, have at least 3 years of experience in a production or GMP environment, and possess prior managerial experience.
