GCS Malta is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join a leading IT services provider in Malta.

Your Responsibilities

• Designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable on
• premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Driving cloud integration strategies, focusing on Microsoft Azure and virtualization (Hyper
• V & VMware).
• Configuring and securing networks using Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Sophos Firewalls.
• Monitoring and optimizing infrastructure performance with Zabbix, Azure Monitor, and PRTG.
• Ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 and PCI
• DSS standards, collaborating with Level 2 and Level 3 teams to implement best practices.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Hyper-V, VMware, Azure, and DevOps practices, along with excellent troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills, is essential. Ideally, candidates must possess a valid Maltese driving license.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on servers, networking, and cloud. Certifications such as Cisco CCNP, Microsoft Associate-level, and VMware VCP, along with familiarity with ISO standards, are highly advantageous.
