GCS Malta is seeking to recruit a Senior Officer – Guidance & Outreach to work with a local public agency.

Your Responsibilities

• Implementing AML/CFT guidance and outreach plans.
• Drafting, reviewing, and updating AML/CFT procedures.
• Conducting research and providing feedback on AML/CFT matters.
• Organizing and participating in training events.
• Monitoring and sharing updates from AML/CFT bodies.
• Handling queries and assisting with compliance interpretations.
• Maintaining records and coordinating initiatives with authorities.
• Supporting outreach efforts, public education, and academic collaborations.
• Reviewing teamwork quality and suggesting improvements.
• Performing tasks as assigned by management.

Required Skills

This role requires a strong understanding of Maltese AML/CFT laws, EU legislation, international standards, and related domestic and EU regulations. Fluency in written and spoken English and Maltese, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, is required.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should have an MQF Level 6 qualification in Law, Banking, Finance, or a related field with at least 4 years of experience in a similar role, or an MQF Level 5 qualification with 5 years of relevant experience.
