Manager – Guidance & Outreach

GCS Malta is seeking to recruit a Manager – Guidance & Outreach to work with a local public agency.

Your Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing AML/CFT programs.
  • Drafting and updating policies and procedures.
  • Publishing and revising guidance documents.
  • Conducting AML/CFT research.
  • Organizing and participating in training.
  • Managing Public Private Partnerships initiatives.
  • Staying updated on EU/international developments.
  • Circulating relevant AML/CFT reports.
  • Responding to queries and assisting with implementation.
  • Maintaining statistical data on initiatives.
  • Coordinating AML/CFT guidance with authorities.
  • Overseeing public education initiatives.
  • Assessing and implementing internal team training.
  • Planning and optimizing team operations.
  • Ensuring officers are trained and supported.
  • Monitoring work quality and conducting performance reviews.

Required Skills

Applicants should have strong proficiency in AML/CFT laws in Malta, EU legislation, and international standards. A solid understanding of relevant domestic and EU financial services laws and sector operations is required. Demonstrated technical competence, efficiency, leadership, and ethical responsibility are essential. Fluency in both written and spoken Maltese and English and proficiency in using Microsoft office applications is a must.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate must hold an LL. D Degree or Master’s in Advocacy along with a warrant to practice in Malta, whilst a minimum of 6 years’ relevant work experience, including 2 years in a senior role is considered an asset.
