Supplier Quality Assurance Lead

GCS Malta is looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance Lead to work with one of Malta's leading technology companies.
Your Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with DLR New Co guidelines on Environmental Health, Safety, Security, Ethics, and Business Principles.
- Investigating quality issues for raw materials and customer concerns.
- Conducting visual inspections and testing of incoming raw materials; maintaining a supplier scoring system.
- Reviewing and maintaining records of raw material CoA and CoC.
- Managing quarantine and segregation for nonconforming materials and affected work.
- Collaborating with procurement for supplier complaints on defective materials.
- Engaging with external suppliers on quality improvements; conducting on
- site visits.
- Participating in internal audits for ISO management systems; auditing on schedule.
- Supporting improvements in quality systems and SOPs.
- Gathering statistical data and preparing quality reports for vendor ratings.
- Liaising with Process and R&D on quality issues for raw materials.
- Communicating urgent quality concerns to the department head.
Required Skills
Strong Statistical Process Control knowledge, proficiency in Quality Tools and Systems, Microsoft Office, and experience with "8D" methodology and ISO management systems are required within this role. Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills are essential.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Engineering or Science, or an equivalent qualification, along with at least 4 years of experience in Supplier Quality Management or Assurance functions.
