GCS Malta is looking for a Health, Safety & Environmental Officer to work with one of Malta's leading manufacturing companies.
Your Responsibilities
- Promoting HSE practices across manufacturing activities.
- Ensuring legal compliance and minimizing risks.
- Developing and implementing risk management strategies.
- Keeping management and staff updated on HSE legislation.
- Reviewing and improving HSE policies and procedures.
- Collaborating to ensure compliance with legal and system requirements.
- Providing internal HSE training.
- Participating in HSE Workgroups.
- Supporting leaders in improving competence.
Required Skills
This role requires a solid understanding of HSE legislation and industry practices, along with strong multitasking, presentation, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Proficiency in using Microsoft office application is essential.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate must be in possession of a Diploma in Health & Safety or a related discipline, along with a NEBOSH certification. At least 3 years of experience in H&S/HSE management or a similar position is considered an asset.
