Junior Accountant

GCS Malta is seeking a Junior Accountant to work with one of Malta’s leading manufacturing companies.

Your Responsibilities

• Monitoring daily bookkeeping activities and ensuring compliance with internal controls.
• Preparing periodic management accounts.
• Compiling statutory and regulatory submissions.
• Preparing periodic reports.
• Liaising with external auditors, banks, financial institutions, service providers, and other relevant entities.
• Assisting with applications for assistance schemes and related claims.

Required Skills

This role requires strong Excel skills, including data manipulation, and familiarity with other office software applications. Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate must be in possession of an Accounting Certification whilst a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
