Payroll Coordinator

GCS Malta is looking for a Payroll Coordinator to work with one of Malta’s leading service providers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Managing payroll and ensuring compliance with client requirements.
  • Submitting VAT and tax returns with corresponding P&L accounts.
  • Updating employee data and statutory records.
  • Addressing employee concerns and taking appropriate action.
  • Preparing statistical reports for management or clients.
  • Reporting irregularities and ensuring accuracy in work.
  • Supporting audits and resolving issues.
  • Assisting in implementing new systems for efficiency.

  • office duties as needed.

Required Skills

This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, payroll systems, and database software, along with a solid understanding of Maltese payroll legislation and basic IT knowledge. Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills in both Maltese and English are essential.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of payroll experience, with experience using Indigo being a plus.
