Financial Accountant

GCS Malta is seeking a Financial Accountant to work with one of Malta’s leading service providers.

Your Responsibilities

• Ensuring IFRS compliance.
• Preparing month
• end journals, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Processing monthly revenues.
• Analyzing budget variances.
• Assisting with forecasting and management accounts.
• Managing CAPEX accounting.
• Supporting internal controls and reporting.
• Assisting with group consolidation and audits.
• Preparing VAT returns and tax reports.
• Supporting Finance Manager and Financial Controller.

Required Skills

One must be proficient in MS Office especially in MS Excel and preference will be given to candidates who have exposure on using excel for business modelling.

Qualifications and Experience

If you are in possession of a University degree in Accounting or ACCA equivalent, with previous working experience of at least 2 years’, then this one’s for you! Familiar with IFRS is considered a must.
