GCS Malta is looking for a Team Lead – BI & Data Engineering to join of Malta's leading service providers. The chosen candidate will be joining the Data Engineering team.

Your Responsibilities

• Leading the data team to enhance, build, and optimize data assets.
• Applying extensive experience in database design concepts and SQL programming.
• Overseeing the implementation of best practices and ensuring the delivery of high
• quality solutions.

Required Skills

This role requires a candidate with strong knowledge of SQL, data modelling, and database security techniques. Ideally, the candidate should be organized, results-driven, flexible, and able to handle both planned and unplanned tasks. Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should have experience in designing data warehouses and data lakes, as well as data profiling and quality assurance. Experience in team leadership and mentoring is also considered a valuable asset.
