GCS Malta is seeking a Group Chief Financial Officer to work with one of Malta’s leading group of companies.

Your Responsibilities

• Shaping strategic direction with the executive team and Board.
• Formulating and executing financial strategy aligned with corporate goals.
• Advising CEO and Board on financial matters and growth plans.
• Leading financing strategy and securing funding for growth initiatives.
• Optimizing cash flow, capital structure, and resource allocation.
• Setting performance targets, monitoring KPIs, and improving operational efficiency.
• Implementing cost optimization strategies across business units.
• Presenting financial updates and strategic recommendations to the Board.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and overseeing tax strategy.
• Leading, mentoring, and collaborating with the Group Finance team.

Required Skills

This role requires expertise in strategic financial planning, stakeholder management, and a strong understanding of the Maltese tax regime, along with advanced knowledge of financial governance, internal controls, risk management, and compliance. Excellent negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills, with a focus on achieving results and fostering strategic partnerships.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should have an Accounting Degree or a recognized qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), a Master's in Finance, Accounting, and Business, and be a Warranted & Chartered Accountant. 15+ years of finance experience, with 5+ years in leadership, is preferred.
