GCS Malta Is looking for a Head of M&A to work with a leading consumer goods company operating in Malta.

Your Responsibilities

• Executing M&A strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Evaluating market trends and identifying opportunities.
• Collaborating with CEO, CFO, and Board on M&A priorities.
• Identifying and prioritizing acquisition targets, assessing strategic fit and performance.
• Managing early
• stage discussions with stakeholders.
• Leading deal execution, structuring, and negotiations with advisors.
• Presenting recommendations to the Board for approval.
• Directing due diligence, assessing feasibility, ROI, and risks.
• Collaborating with internal teams to evaluate and validate risks.
• Developing integration strategies aligning acquisitions with company processes.
• Reporting on synergies, savings, and ROI post
• acquisition.
• Resolving integration challenges to ensure operational continuity.
• Building and leading a high
• performing M&A team, coordinating with advisors.

Required Skills

The candidate should have expertise in financial modelling, valuation, negotiation, and integration planning, with experience in cross-border transactions and stakeholder management. Strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or Business, with an MBA or CFA preferred. They should have 12+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or M&A, including leadership experience, ideally in a group setting.
