M&A Manager

GCS Malta Is looking for an M&A Manager to work with a leading consumer goods company operating in Malta.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conducting market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential acquisition targets.
  • Analyzing competitive landscapes and assessing strategic fit within the Group’s portfolio.
  • Building and maintaining financial models for target company valuations and deal analysis.
  • Supporting due diligence by collecting, analyzing, and validating financial and operational data.
  • Assisting in preparing deal documentation, investment reports, and board presentations.
  • Supporting transaction execution, negotiations, and adherence to timelines.
  • Monitoring post
  • acquisition performance, tracking synergies, and assisting with integration.

Required Skills

This role requires a deep understanding of financial statements, M&A processes, and valuation methodologies, along with strong presentation skills.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a preference for professional qualifications such as ACCA. They should have over 7 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or M&A, with strong expertise in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and due diligence.
