GCS Malta is seeking a Sous Chef to work with one of Malta’s leading catering companies.
Your Responsibilities
- Managing kitchen operations and overseeing meal preparation.
- Ensuring dishes meet quality and presentation standards.
- Monitoring consistency and quality of dispatched items.
- Overseeing timely food preparation and portion control.
- Liaising with kitchen staff and creating rosters.
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and reporting equipment issues.
- Tracking inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
- Enforcing food safety, hygiene, and local health regulations.
Required Skills
Strong communication, leadership, and time management skills, along with expertise in cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
Qualifications and Experience
The chosen candidate must have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a tournant chef or a chef de partie.
