EPHS Manager

GCS Malta is seeking an EPHS Manager to work with an international pharmaceutical company. The chosen individual will be reporting directly to the Head of Engineering.

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinating activities for the maintenance and enhancement of the ISO 14001 system, including setting environmental objectives and overseeing company waste management
• Liaising with stakeholders in environmental, health, and safety fields, managing internal audits, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements
• Leading accident and incident investigations with support from the HSE officer and coordinating or delivering health and safety training sessions

Required Skills

This role requires familiarity with ISO 14001 and IPPC permit, along with strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should possess a University Degree in Sciences and/or Engineering, complemented by additional qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety and/or Environmental Management. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
