GCS Malta is seeking an Audit Senior to join one of Malta’s leading financial companies.

Your Responsibilities

• Reporting to Audit Directors, Partners, or Managers
• Managing client portfolios across various industries
• Ensuring assignments meet budget, time, and resource requirements
• Supervising staff, providing training, and liaising with clients
• Ensuring compliance with firm’s procedures
• Resolving audit issues with clients
• Presenting findings to audit committees and boards
• Mentoring and recruiting junior staff

Required Skills

This role requires an individual with in-depth knowledge of IFRS and ISA, along with a strong background and experience in audit methodologies and techniques. Strong time management, organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should hold a university qualification or a recognized certification, such as ACCA, with a preference for those holding a warrant. 3-5 years of experience in external audit is considered an advantage.
