GCS Malta is looking for an IP Core Network Engineer to work with one of Malta’s leading service providers. The chosen candidate must be willing to participate in an on-call roster.
Candidates must hold an MQF Level 6 qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering/Science, along with a CCNA certification. A minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Network Engineer, preferably within a service provider environment, is required.
Excellent organizational and communication skills are considered a must and also one must be willing to work in a team.

Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure, high-availability IP network
- Leading network projects and mentoring junior engineers
- Collaborating with internal teams to deliver new solutions
- Managing vendor relationships for network services
- Monitoring network health and performing preventive actions
- Supporting capacity planning and budgeting
- Automating tasks through scripting
- Researching new technologies and maintaining documentation
- Providing after-hours support and participating in on-call duties
