GCS Malta is seeking to recruit an Information Security Analyst to join an international high-tech company.
Applicants must hold a higher-level education in IT or a related degree, along with 3+ years of experience in information security risk and compliance. Or in the absence of a relevant degree an additional 5 years’ experience in addition to the years of proven experience listed above.
The ideal candidate should have knowledge of Information Security Management Systems, risk assessment methodologies, and frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST CSF, along with a general understanding of enterprise network architecture, identity and access management, and related technologies.

Responsibilities
- Managing and resolving security incidents, maintaining SIEM integrity, and supporting threat detection and response.
- Implementing and improving security tools, conducting vulnerability scans, and assisting in remediation efforts.
- Preparing risk assessments, tracking security metrics, supporting internal and external audits, and ensuring compliance with standards like ISO and eIDAS.
- Maintaining security policies and documentation, overseeing document control, and monitoring adherence by staff and third parties.
- Promoting security awareness through training, acting as a Subject Matter Expert in PKI and eIDAS, and performing credential management.
- Supporting disaster recovery planning, monitoring emerging threats, advising on secure system design, and assisting with change management processes.
