GCS Malta is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join an international high-tech company.
 

Responsibilities

  • Leading system support and improvements (Windows Servers, PKI, SCCM, Cisco)
  • Managing incidents and providing Level 3 technical support
  • Coordinating with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution
  • Operating PKI systems per ICAO/eIDAS compliance
  • Overseeing deployments and enforcing change management practices
  • Monitoring performance and enhancing efficiency through automation
  • Maintaining disaster recovery plans and technical documentation
  • Ensuring IT compliance and coaching junior staff
  • Communicating updates and supporting stakeholder decisions


The ideal candidate should possess a higher-level qualification in IT or a related field, along with at least 3 years of proven experience in supporting, maintaining, and operating Windows enterprise environments. Candidates without a relevant degree may still be considered if they have an additional 5 years of relevant experience.

Requirements include experience in data centre operations, Hyper-V, network configuration (VLANs, routing), change management, and external IT support. Familiarity with ISO27001, EIDAS, ICAO, and PKI systems (preferably Microsoft CAs) is preferred.
