GCS Malta Is looking for a Shift Manager to work with a leading consumer goods company operating in Malta.
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and have at least 5 years of experience in operations and people management within a manufacturing environment. Alternatively, candidates with an Advanced Technical Diploma or equivalent qualification must have a minimum of 9 years' relevant experience in the industry.
Engineering or technical background with knowledge of business principles and industry-standard equipment. Strong analytical skills, root cause analysis, and experience in Lean, GMP, 5S, HACCP, and ISO standards. Health & safety awareness and proven ability to drive efficiency, quality, and team development are required.
Strong leadership, teamwork ad problem-solving skills are essential along with having a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities
- Executing daily production plans while ensuring compliance with KPIs, quality, and food safety standards
- Leading and supporting production and technical teams to meet performance targets
- Driving continuous improvement through data analysis, root cause investigation, and corrective actions
- Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety, HACCP, GMP, and 5S standards
- Overseeing quality control and coordinating with QC to ensure product compliance
- Preparing and reviewing production and performance reports
- Conducting shift handovers and maintaining effective communication across teams
- Managing team performance, training, and development while fostering a culture of accountability and initiative
