GCS Malta is looking for a Group Purchasing Manager to work with one of Malta's leading companies within hospitality and entertainment. 
 

Responsibilities

  • Leading and coordinating procurement across all business units.
  • Developing purchasing strategies to ensure quality, value, and efficiency.
  • Setting sourcing, negotiation, and cost control standards.
  • Consolidating purchasing to achieve economies of scale.
  • Building relationships with key suppliers.
  • Ensuring compliance with policies, contracts, and sustainability goals.
  • Collaborating with other departments to align purchasing with business needs.
  • Managing contracts, risks, and supplier agreements.
  • Mentoring and developing the purchasing team.
  • Analysing market trends to guide decisions and budgets.
  • Reporting performance and KPIs to leadership.


The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related, whilst proven experience in a senior management  procurement or purchasing leadership role, ideally in a multi-entity or hospitality is considered an asset. 

Strong analytical, negotiation skills and financial acumen are required, along with sound knowledge of procurement tools, ERP systems, and inventory management.

Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential, an additional language is a plus.
