GCS Malta is seeking to recruit a Corporate & Commercial Lawyer to join one of Malta’s leading accounting firms.
The ideal candidate should hold a Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M) or equivalent from the University of Malta, along with a Law Degree from a recognized institution. Admission to practice law in Malta is preferred. A minimum of 8 years’ experience in Corporate and Civil Law is considered an asset.
This role requires good understanding in the gaming or technology sectors, along with strong understanding of contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. Familiarity with data protection regulations and intellectual property law is essential.
Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills are required along with proficiency in using Microsoft office applications.

Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and advising on company and client contracts, NDAs, and service agreements
- Ensuring legal documentation complies with laws and best practices
- Supporting corporate structuring, governance projects, and regulatory compliance
- Providing strategic legal guidance and identifying potential legal risks
- Monitoring legislative and regulatory changes and summarizing key updates
- Liaising with external advisors on complex legal issues and filings
- Developing internal legal guidance, checklists, and supporting continuous process improvement
