GCS Malta is looking for a Compliance Associate to work with one of Malta’s leading financial companies.
Applicants must possess a University Degree or an equivalent qualification at MQF level 6 in Risk Management and/or Banking & Finance and/or a related discipline whilst having a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or an MQF level 5 in a related discipline coupled with at least 4 years of experience.
Ideally, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Malta's laws on anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing, as well as international standards and EU legislation in this area.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office is required whilst excellent communication skills in English is a must.

Responsibilities
- Planning and executing compliance examinations to assess AML/CFT adherence and control frameworks.
- Analyzing results and prepare timely compliance examination reports.
- Participating in Supervision and Compliance Monitoring Committees.
- Liaising with Competent Authorities.
- Advising and assisting subject persons in establishing AML/CFT structures and controls.
- Assisting the Risk Team with risk assessments and verification procedures.
- Providing feedback on compliance examination outcomes to the Remediation Team.
- Participating in training for subject persons, supervision officers, and other authorities
