GCS Malta is looking for a Non Motor Claims Handler to work with one of Malta’s leading insurance companies. The chosen individual will manage claims ensuring that company policy, procedure and regulatory requirements are always followed.
 

Responsibilities 

• Registering and assessing new claims in line with policy coverage
• Managing Household and Private Marine claims
• Maintaining accurate claims documentation and records
• Communicating with brokers, clients, and external stakeholders
• Investigating and assessing potential fraudulent claims
• Processing claims payments promptly within delegated authority
• Conducting proactive claims reviews for efficient case management
• Supporting claims process improvements and optimization initiatives
• Assisting team members with delegated tasks
• Evaluating claims in line with policy terms and company guidelines
• Collaborating with management and other departments to ensure smooth claims operations

This role demands a solid understanding of cost management and strict compliance with delegated settlement authorities.

Ideally, applicants must have excellent customer service and professional communication skills, with the ability to multitask and work well within a team, A proactive approach is also essential.
