GCS Malta is seeking a Regulatory Services Senior Manager to work with one of Malta’s leading financial companies.
The ideal candidate must hold recognized professional certification in risk management, whilst a minimum of 5 years of continuous hands-on experience in risk management is considered an asset.
Applicants must have strong knowledge of auditing standards, risk management, and compliance regulations, with proven work experience in the payment services sector. They hold an approved PQ Status with the MFSA and are familiar with industry compliance standards and regulatory frameworks, demonstrating a solid understanding of risk assessment and control methodologies.
Strong organizational, meticulous and communication skills are essential, as well as fluency in both written and spoken English.

GCS Malta is seeking a Regulatory Services Senior Manager to work with one of Malta’s leading financial companies.
Responsibilities
- Leading identification, assessment, and monitoring of operational, financial, and compliance risks.
- Developing and maintaining risk management policies, registers, and frameworks in line with regulations.
- Driving innovation in risk management tools, models, and software.
- Preparing and presenting risk reports to Boards of Directors; attending board meetings as required.
- Conducting internal audits and evaluating effectiveness of internal controls and risk mitigation.
- Identifying risks, fraud, and inefficiencies; issuing audit reports with actionable recommendations.
- Collaborating with clients and internal teams to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
- Delivering training and building awareness on risk and compliance across teams.
- Keeping up to date with regulatory developments and industry best practices.
- Holding regulated appointments related to Risk and Internal Audit.
