GCS Malta is seeking to recruit an Assistant Risk Manager to work with a local public agency.
The ideal candidate should have an MQF Level 6 qualification in risk management, banking, finance or related and at least 5 years of relevant experience with at least 1 year in a senior-level role or hold an MQF Level 5 in a relevant subject, coupled with 7 years of experience.
Applicants must have strong knowledge and practical understanding of laws governing the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing in Malta, as well as relevant international standards and EU legislation. They should also possess experience or familiarity with AML/CFT checks, risk assessments, data analysis, or statistical evaluations.
Applicants should have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Power BI or other data analysis tools is an asset. Candidates must demonstrate a track record of technical competence, efficiency, ethical responsibility, and diligence.
