GCS Malta is looking for a Tax Associate to work with a local assurance firm.

 

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with direct tax matters

• Preparing written tax opinions as required
• Supporting tax compliance, including income tax returns and refund claims
• Liaising with auditors on tax-related issues
• Advising clients on fiscal obligations and ensuring timely compliance
• Guiding clients on tax-efficient structuring of corporate and personal affairs
• Assisting private clients with tax residency schemes
• Providing efficient and professional service to clients and prospective clients

 

Applicants must be fully ACCA qualified or equivalent, with at least 1/2 years’ of experience working in a similar role is considered an asset.

The role requires someone with sound knowledge and understanding of local and international tax. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.

Fluency in spoken and written Maltese and English is required; knowledge of the Italian Language is considered an asset.
