GCS Malta is looking for a Project Manager to work with leading contracting company in Malta.

 

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Coordinating design reviews to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
• Overseeing procurement and timely delivery of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services
• Leading and supervising on-site execution of MEP works
• Monitoring project progress, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions
• Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations
• Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams for effective communication
• Conducting project meetings and preparing regular progress reports
• Supervising and mentoring project engineers, estimators, site staff, and subcontractors
• Ensuring MEP installations comply with design drawings, local codes, and international standards
• Conducting quality inspections and coordinating testing to resolve technical issues
• Managing project handover documentation and final acceptance procedures
• Monitoring project costs and controlling expenditures within budget
• Reviewing and approving subcontractor invoices and variations
• Supporting management in claims, change orders, and contract negotiations

 

The ideal candidate must have proven experience in project management, preferably within the construction, engineering, or a related industry.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and multitasking skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

This role requires high proficiency in Excel and knowledge of data processing techniques.
