Process Engineer

GCS Malta is looking for a Process Engineer to work with one of Malta's leading technology companies.

 

Responsibilities

• Supporting product launches as the factory representative within project teams
• Developing manufacturing processes based on product requirements
• Contributing to continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality standards
• Assisting operations and quality teams in root cause analysis to achieve yield and waste targets
• Supporting product changes through the APQP process based on customer, supplier, or cost requirements
• Preparing trial and product costing estimates
• Participating in APQP activities such as FMEAs, job planning, and closure meetings
• Supporting floor management systems, including Gemba, escalations, daily routines, and TIPS
• Assisting in product qualification for new machinery
• Supporting divisional leadership in executing strategies for GRS and brand protection
• Ensuring adherence to governance and operational standards across the division

 

The selected candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent in a relevant subject, whilst at least a year’ experience in a similar role is considered an asset.

Applicants must have sound understanding of good manufacturing practices and lean process, along that of product development process requirements. Project management skills, strong problem-solving, teamwork, and solid analytical abilities are required within this role.

Fluency in both written and spoken English language.
