GCS Malta is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to work with one of Malta’s leading consumer goods companies.

 

Responsibilities

• Monitoring line performance and addressing deviations for process control.
• Developing and implementing data-driven maintenance plans.
• Conducting root cause analysis and proposing continuous improvement strategies.
• Leading cross-departmental project teams for asset groups.
• Supporting product development with prototypes and testing specifications.
• Preparing documentation for project transfer to production, including testing plans and training.
• Promoting health and safety by following protocols and procedures.
• Ensuring safety systems operate effectively and address safety concerns proactively.
• Maintaining a safe work environment and promoting cleanliness through 5S practices.

 

The ideal candidate must be in possession of a Diploma or Higher National Diploma in Engineering and have 2 years' experience in a food manufacturing working environment.

One must have technical insight in a complex manufacturing environment while being experienced with GMP, ISO Standards, Safe Food Handling, HACCP practices and HSE guidelines.

Strong knowledge of project management techniques and AutoCAD is essential within this role.
